Acclaimed sound editor Mike Hopkins,
whose films include blockbusters like 'The Lord Of The Rings' and
'Octopussy,' drowned in a rafting accident in New Zealand on Saturday.
Hopkins died after being thrown into a fast-flowing stretch of the river in the remote Tararua Ranges on North Island, Sky News reported.
A police spokeswoman said that his two rafting companions - who have not been named - both survived.READ MORE
