Apple TV (2010) has been completely redesigned to use Apple's mobile iOS operating system and components -- just like an iPhone or iPad. The tiny box packs a wallop, however, with easy HDMI connectivity for your living room LCD or Plasma HD TV, and super simple, rent-only access to the iTunes Store, streaming-only access to your home iTunes library, and Internet access to podcasts, YouTube, Netflix, and other "channels" including news and sports like MLB. Rumors of a next generation Apple TV have persisted for some time, most notably one that would support 1080p video, but no release date has been made available.
